| Winter Ball The High School Winter Ball Dance has been rescheduled for Saturday February 4th from 7-11 pm. Tickets will be sold at both high school lunches next week. Guest forms are due Friday February 3rd. Doors will close at 8 pm. This will be a a semi-formal dance. Core Beliefs Survey Dear Parents & Community Members, In preparation for Tahanto’s 2015 reaccreditation with NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges), we need to begin by identifying what our core beliefs are. According to the NEASC: Effective schools identify core values and beliefs about learning that function as explicit foundational commitments to students and the community. Decision-making remains focused on and aligned with these critical commitments. Core values and beliefs manifest themselves in research-based, school-wide 21st century learning expectations. Every component of the school is driven by the core values and beliefs and supports all students’ achievement of the school’s learning expectations.
The NEASC pre self-study team has developed a survey to gain insight from faculty, staff, students, parents and community member. These responses will be tabulated, analyzed and discussed in order to move forward in the self-study process. Reporting to the public on the responses will be conducted through School Committee meetings.
