Health Office Reminder
It is a requirement of the state that all incoming 7th and 10th grade students have a current physical and immunization record on file.
If your child participates in a sport(s), a yearly physical is required. A physical is considered current for 13 months to the day, according to MIAA rules. Remember: sports notes are not acceptable. A complete physical must be on file in the Health Office. Please check the status of your physical with the school nurse when you register for fall sports. The school nurse can check and clear new physicals up until the last day of school. The school nurse does not work when school is not in session.
**Remember: practice for some fall sports begins before the start of school and all physicals must be cleared by the school nurse.

Feasibility Study - Regionalization
The School Committee has recently voted to have a feasibility study completed to review the potential of regionalization from grades prek-12. They sent out a grant request to CMRPC (Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission) and were approved this request. Janet Pierce is the contact person from CMRPC who is completing this study and will provide the results and recommendations to the School Committee. As part of this study, Ms. Pierce has sent a survey request and has asked that the school department distribute it to the community. The posting is not only on this website, but has been sent out to parents and staff. CMRPC is planning on getting this information in the local newspapers as well. If you should have any questions regarding this study, please do not hesitate to contact Ruth Blandin, Chairperson of the Berlin-Boylston Regional School Committee via email at: email@example.com.
On behalf of the School Committee, I thank you for your participation.
